Future star medical doctors can apply for the Dr. Johan Blickman Scholarship for a chance for $1,000 in scholarship funding, which we will award to a single university student who is studying to become a medical doctor.
Dr. Johan Blickman has spent many years as a radiologist and professor of radiology, and would like to give back to future medical doctors.
The Dr. Johan Blickman Scholarship announces our annual scholarship fund which is directed towards students who are studying to become medical doctors who are currently enrolled in a university in the United States.
In order to apply, students should be current students at a university in the United States who are studying medicine or high school students that will attend university for a medical degree.
The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition. One winner will be selected based on a creative essay of under 1000 words answering the following:
“Describe how as a medical doctor, you would improve upon our current system of healthcare to improve upon it.”
One time award of $1,000
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is December 15, 2022.
The winner for the scholarship will be announced January 15, 2023.
